
Katy has spent 12 years working in education, gaining experience across mainstream and special schools, and alternative provision, as well as with a local authority. She has extensive knowledge of special educational needs and disabilities, both in her professional work and personal life.
Her central beliefs focus on inclusion and ensuring that every student reaches their full potential, while also helping them recognise their own worth and value. In her previous roles as a School Home Support practitioner and a local authority SEND advisor, she has built strong relationships with parents, students, and stakeholders, working collaboratively to remove barriers to learning.
