Robert Turner

Robert is an experienced educationalist, combining many years of teaching with providing senior leadership and advisory support to schools, local authorities and multi-academy trusts. A former adviser on the Department for Children, Schools and Families National Challenge programme, he is well versed in providing support for schools in challenging urban contexts. He is a specialist in developing effective governance and, as an experienced chair of governors, Robert recently held a central role in supporting a challenging London academy on its journey from ‘special measures’ to ‘good’ in 19 months.
