Rewarding success with a West End theatre experience
Students from Mayesbrook Park campus, across Years 9 to 11, recently enjoyed an exciting trip to London’s Phoenix Theatre to watch the hit production Stranger Things. The visit was organised as a reward for students who have shown dedication and hard work in their lessons throughout the year.
For many students, this was their first experience of visiting a large West End theatre and seeing a major live production. The atmosphere, special effects and performances made the experience both memorable and inspiring, giving students the chance to enjoy live theatre in a completely new setting.
Students were full of praise for the show, with Fortune describing it as ‘fantastic’, while Riley said, ‘I’m lost for words about how good it was.’
The trip provided a well-deserved opportunity for students to celebrate their achievements, build confidence and experience the excitement of live performance and the arts in the heart of London.
