Back to sea for Connor
After Year 10 student Connor's tall ships boat experince last year, where the skipper was really impressed by Connor's seaworthiness, Connor was invited back on another boat trip recently as a junior watch leader.
Connor said: I wasn't too sure what being a watch leader involved, but once it was explained to me I was really excited. The trip started out a bit rocky because of storm Dennis, but once we set sail to the Isle of Wright from Portsmonth I soon got into the swing of things. It was a great experience and I learnt loads over the four days sailing.
