Exploring creative futures at Access Creative College

4On Friday 26th September 2025, students from Years 9-11 at Mayesbrook Park School took part in an exciting visit to Access Creative College. The trip gave students the chance to explore post-16 opportunities in music and media, gaining insight into the facilities, courses and career paths available at one of the UK’s leading creative colleges.

During the tour, students were guided by Punit, who provided an engaging overview of the college’s specialist spaces, including its professional recording studios and media production rooms and shared advice on how young people can turn their creative passions into future careers.

Princess (Year 10) said: ‘The music college tour guide Punit was very informative and taught me things I never knew about music. I’d be interested in doing a course there -  it had a really nice vibe. The studios were calming and dark.’

Kai (Year 11) added: ‘The college tour was engaging, fun and entertaining. I liked it so much I’m going to apply!’

The visit encouraged students to think about their next steps after Year 11 and how vocational learning can open doors to exciting opportunities in the creative industries.
